The division of Academic Affairs includes all areas that provide instruction or support the academic mission of Grambling State University. From classroom instruction, the registrar's office, and service learning to distance learning, accreditation, and continuing education, academic affairs provides for the educational enrichment of students, faculty, and staff.
The Grambling experiences and traditions emphasize meeting all students where they are, and providing the support structure necessary to ensure all students succeed. We work in concert with the university mission, as Grambling State University is "where everybody is somebody."
The mission of the division of Academic Affairs is to ensure the delivery of quality degree programs which provide students with knowledge, skills, and competencies that (1) prepare them for success in their chosen careers, (2) motivate them to pursue graduate and advanced study, and (3) equip them for meaningful interaction with diverse groups of people.
Moreover, the Office of the Provost & Vice President for Academic Affairs is committed to providing faculty with opportunities and activities that (1) enhance teaching, (2) foster involvement in research and other scholarly endeavors, and (3) promote participation in university and community services.
